Very simply, syndication is a group of investors who pool their money, time and knowledge together to invest in real estate.

How Does DataFirst Vet Properties to Make Sure They are Sound Investments?

This process includes conducting thorough due diligence on each property, including a review of financial and operational data, market analysis, and physical inspections. The company also works closely with experienced real estate professionals to evaluate potential risks and opportunities, and to develop strategies for maximizing returns while minimizing risk.

How Long Does DataFirst Typically Hold Properties?

Our hold period can range from 3 to 7 years, but could be longer or shorter, depending on market conditions.

How Long Before I Start to See Returns After I Make an Investment?

We expect to make quarterly payments to investors, beginning 6-12 months after acquisition, depending on the level of improvements required.

What Questions Should I Ask Before Investing?

Before investing, you should ask about the potential risks and rewards of the investment, as well as the underlying company or asset you are considering. Additionally, it is important to ask about management fees, expenses associated with the investment, the track record of the investment management team, and any relevant legal, regulatory or tax  considerations.

Will DataFirst Need Information About Me?

Yes. This will include verifying your identity, assessing your financial situation and investment goals, and determining your eligibility to invest in a particular offering.

How Can I Participate in a Syndicate?

You would typically need to be able to demonstrate that you are an accredited or sophisticated investor, meaning you meet certain income, net worth or background/experience requirements.

What are the Steps to Investing With DataFirst?

First, we provide a range of documents to investors to help them make informed investment decisions, including offering materials and other information such as property information operating agreements, subscription agreements and a private placement memorandum describing the risks of the investment.

Second, prospective investors review the documents and complete a subscription agreement indicating their financial qualifications and the amount of their investment.

Third, investors submit the subscription agreement and wire funds to the account provided by management for acquisition of the property.

How Often Will DataFirst Communicate With Me About My Investment?

We communicate with investors regularly throughout the investment lifecycle. This includes providing updates on the progress of the investment, as well as any relevant news or events that may impact its performance. The frequency and format of these communications may vary depending on the type of investment and the preferences of individual investors. However, investors can generally expect to receive periodic reports, including property financial statements and performance metrics, as well as opportunities to participate in investor meetings or conference calls.
