Our Investors
DataFirst’s typical investors are accredited or sophisticated investors who are looking for diversity as well as better returns than they may currently be earning in traditional investments and who want to take advantage of the benefits of professionally managed investment-quality multifamily real estate without the hassles of dealing with day-to-day property operations.
Qualificiation
We pre-qualify each of our potential partners on the basis of their previous investment experience, knowledge and investment goals.
Sources of Funds
Sources of investor funds in our properties include savings, inheritances, individual retirement accounts or 401(k)s, and conversion of low-producing stock or bond portfolios.
Our Goal: Repeat Investors
We get to know each of our investors – we want satisfied investors who come back again and again because of our consistent, data-driven results.
Target Performance
• Preferred Returns: 6% to 9% annualized
• Distributions Start: 6-12 months after acquisition of the property
• Profit Splits: Typically, 70/30 or better
• Hold Period: 3-7 years
• Minimum Investment: $50,000
• Target Return for Equity Investors: Mid to high teens annualized (resale equity combined with preferred returns from cash flow)
